to help the Body of Christ fulfill
the Great Commission of Jesus Christ here in West Ashley.

Our Story

Church of the Good Shepherd has only existed by that name since 2007, but our history is rich and varied, since we are in fact an amalgamation of multiple historic Charleston churches. To read more, click here.

 

Our Affiliation

We are Christians in the Anglican Tradition. Church of the Good Shepherd is a member church of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, which in turn is a member diocese of the Anglican Church in North America. We maintain strong links with other Anglicans around the world, and are always ready to collaborate with other Christians, regardless of denomination.
