Good Shepherd

Will Klauber

Will grew up in Charleston, and has a special appreciation for the unique cultural makeup of the Lowcountry. Having spent years doing youth and family ministry  before being called to the priesthood, Will has a passion for reaching families with a saving knowledge of the Gospel. He also has a heart to see men and women equipped and raised up to be the spiritual leaders that God has called them to be in their homes, their workplaces, their neighborhoods, and throughout the wider community.

Will has been married to his wife, Sara, for 15 years. They have two children, Elizabeth (9) and William (7), a young boykin spaniel named Otter, and a gerbil. Otter frequently accompanies Will, and loves treats. The whole family enjoys spending time at the beach, on the water, or in the woods regardless of the season.

Daniel Farley

Ordained in 2016, Deacon Dan has served at Trinity Church in Myrtle Beach and at Good Shepherd. He has a heart for Member Care and serves at both our 9am and 11am services as well as special events.

Dan retired as an educator from the Rochester City School District where he taught ESOL and cosmetology. He was a salon owner and also taught cosmetology for a private trade school. Dan and Sue moved to Myrtle Beach permanently after having spent several winters there. They will be married 40 years in June (God willing).

Brenda Albinger

Brenda has been a church musician since the age of nine and has been leading people in worship ever since. She began her role at Good Shepherd in 2013 and has become indispensable: leading Children's Chapel, providing childcare for our MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) group, teaching music lessons for the Day School, and providing wisdom and passion as a Staff Member.

Her most important job at Good Shepherd is leading people in worship, using music to help the congregation see Christ more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly. She leads the music for the 9am service, and also plays piano in the 11:00am praise band, just because she loves it.

Brenda's philosophy of life is “If it’s not fun, you’re not doing it right!”

Denyse Steen

Denyse has been the Director of the Day School since 2011, having worked in children's and women's ministry for over two decades. She is grateful to God every day for the opportunity to be with the children and the teaching staff of the Day School, watching them grow in God’s grace throughout the year!

Denyse is married to Billy, and they they have two wonderful adult children, Blake and Maddie. In addition to her duties with the Day School and as a member of Church Staff, Denyse serves as a mentor mom to our MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) group.

Stephanie Adams

Born and raised in Florida, Stephanie is a recent transplant to Charleston and loves the area. She has worn many administrative hats in her working life, and is the point of contact for a range of the church's operations: buildings & grounds; ministry & genealogy requests; weddings & funerals; booking facilities; print communications; and plenty more!

She believes that great communication is key to an active and growing church. Stephanie is a voracious reader of all things historical, has a great eye for a bargain, and is married to Chris (a configuration manager with Booz Allen Hamilton). They have one very sparkly daughter, Aubrey, and an obnoxious hound dog, Boone.

David Rowe

David is a seminarian at Trinity School for Ministry, training for ordination to the priesthood. Originally from England, he trained as a worship leader under Matt Redman, and served in ministry contexts in Zimbabwe, New Zealand, and Scotland, before moving to Charleston (his wife's hometown).

At Good Shepherd David leads the music for the 11:00am service and overseas our digital communications, as well as preaching occasionally. He is the author of The Proverbs of Middle-earth (an investigation into the wisdom of The Lord of the Rings), a husband to Maria, a dad to Samson & Charis, and a drinker of Yorkshire Tea.
